There was Lady Gaga’s icy blue hair, Cody Fern’s hoofed Margiela boots and an overwhelming abundance of frills. This evening’s Golden Globes red carpet was a sumptuous visual feast of ruffles, tulle, lace, and velvet. Frilly feminine flourishes were flaunted at every turn, and brilliant shades of vermillion and canary yellow each made a star turn, in contrast to last year’s parade of monochromatic black. (Though the strong political statements may have less visually present, some stars still opted to wear all-black paired with a white Time’s Up bracelet designed by costume designer Arianne Phillips.)
Without further ado, here’s FASHION’s list of best-dressed attendees of the evening.
